System Overview
The Terminal Automation System comprises the following items:
TAS Servers & Clients
Two Servers (in redundant mode as Primary & Backup) along with a Shared Storage Device (all rack mounted) with a 17" TFT Monitor have been proposed. Two operator stations in main Control Room and one Operator station in Sales Office are proposed with 19" TFT monitors. The communication between the TAS Servers and clients shall be via a Fault tolerant Ethernet network.
Distributed Control System (DCS)
The DCS with redundant CPU and non redundant I/Os is proposed. The DCS shall comprise of Virtual Preset Controllers (preset controllers functionality implemented in the DCS Controller) controlling the loading operation at the Weighbridge through the 2 Stage Pneumatic Ball Valve with pneumatic Actuator.
Access Control System
Access Control System is proposed with Card Readers.
Weighbridge System
We have proposed Weighbridge based loading for tankers with a local weighbridge indicator for the person in the field to have an indication of the volume dispensed into the tanker. The weighbridge indicator will communicate to the host using Modbus protocol on RS 485 through the terminal servers.
Data Entry Terminal
Operator Interaction with the system is proposed through a Data Entry Terminal (DET). All the messages that the system displays for operator interface are displayed through the DET and acknowledgement is also sought wherever necessary. While at bay the system guides the operator through the loading operation using the DET.
Digital Video Monitoring System
Digital Cameras are proposed to be used in the Digital Video Monitoring (DVM) System. Each camera shall be either a fixed camera or a Pan, Tilt & Zoom (PTZ) function camera depending upon the location and functionality. These cameras are controlled by a Video Streamer through a Receiver Driver Unit (RDU).

数据录入终端
建议操作员与系统间的接口通过数据输入终端(DET)实现。 系统为操作员接口显示的所有信息和所有必要的确认信息都通过数据输入终端显示。 在装载台上,系统通过数据输入终端引导操作员完成整个装载操作。
数字视频监视系统
建议数字视频监视 (DVM) 系统采用数字摄像机。 根据场所和功能的需要,摄像机应为固定摄像机或具有摇摄、倾斜及缩放 (PTZ) 功能的摄像机。 这些摄像机通过接收驱动单元的视频流进行控制。
